The Open Visualization Academy is an open source repository of knowledge about information design and data visualization.
All educational materials in the Open Visualization Academy —video lectures, software tutorials, guided online courses, and more—will be free and open source.
The first educational resources developed by the Open Visualization Academy will be available in the first half of 2025.
The core mission of the Open Visualization Academy is to spread and democratize access to the tools, techniques, and concepts needed to become informed readers and ethical designers of charts, graphs, maps, infographics, and other displays of information.
The goal of the Open Visualization Academy is to make information design accessible to everyone.
